Introducing the Made to Measure Safari Jacket
A design that has taken the world by storm again in the last twelve months, the safari jacket has a long and illustrious history.
Having been worn first as an alternative to tailoring by well-to-do Englishmen on safari in Africa, the safari jacket has been worn through the decades by famous people such as Ernest Hemingway and Sir Roger Moore.
Its shirt style construction, tailored silhouette and cinchable waist make it a wonderful alternative for a tailored jacket, if you feel like dressing a touch more casually while retaining a distinguished and refined style.
The safari jacket exploded into popularity again after many stylish men donned them at Pitti Uomo last year, and the presence of the garment has been increasing among sartorially inclined people all over the world.
However, it's been difficult to acquire one in Australia, even as a ready to wear.
Let alone a made to measure one.
This all changes with us.
Now, you can join the ranks in your own Made to Measure safari jacket.
Seen here on Sam, this one has been made up in a 320g green woollen flannel Super 140's fabric, for wear in the trans-seasonal months.
It's entirely unlined and unstructured, with no padding.
Being made to measure, a range of the design features are customisable at your request.
We will be offering these safari jackets in any fabric from our bunch books; a range including Fox Brothers & Co., Dormeuil, Holland & Sherry, Carnet, Reda, Fratelli Tallia di Delfino and Guabello.
The construction price is $390, with fabric at an additional cost.
If selecting from house fabric, this will bring the total cost to $495.
Other fabrics are dependent on the mill's pricing.

We look forward to seeing you!
